A safe place for pets while their people recover

Help us bring compassionate, flexible, low-cost care to families facing difficult circumstances—keeping people and the pets they love connected.

Angie’s Furever Acres is a Devon sanctuary in the making for dogs, cats and, in time, rabbits. We’re inviting local people, animal-care professionals and businesses to help turn this vision into lasting support.

Acre note 01

A little land, held for a lot of love

Angie’s Furever Acres is being developed as a not-for-profit project to help keep pets and the people who love them connected through difficult times.

A flexible place to recover, together

We plan to provide full-time care for dogs and cats, with rabbits welcomed in the future. Unlike conventional boarding, there will be no agreed collection date or time limit: pets can stay until their people are ready to welcome them home.

Owners will pay only the cost of their pet’s food and any veterinary treatment needed. Flea and worming treatments will be provided free of charge.

Not for profit, by design

The project’s legal structure is planned as either a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) or a Community Interest Company (CIC), depending on the level of local support.

Room to make it real

Almost 3.2 acres in the Devon countryside have been partially secured for the sanctuary. Local partners can help turn this promising start into a safe, lasting place for pets and families.

Help build a safe place to land

Furever Acres will need practical skills, thoughtful governance and caring hands. If you can offer time or expertise, we would love to hear from you.
